New Orleans Rendez-vous next month? We, the banjo community, lobbied
for years with L.J. Brown, Phil Wilking, and others from the New
Orleans area to have a yearly convention in their city. I think we
should all support the efforts to get this fine convention up and
running again after Katrina. The Landmark hotel is still being
refurbished so an interim site has been selected for this years
festival. I think we should make an effort to attend and support the
folks who are holding up their end by putting on this show. Submitted by Dale Small |
