The featured artist is Skip DeVol. Below is a clip from one of his performances with the Aurora Symphony. Also, in the next issue will be a story on Ron Hinkle.

Submitted by Mike Currao January 25, 2009 Summer Jazz Banjo Festival Here is a new banjo festival. While some festivals are disappearing, new ones are being created. From the website it looks like there is some type of activities to get younger players involved as well.

The American Banjo Museum will honor "Banjo's Best" on April 16th at 6:00 PM. The location is the Petroleum Building in Oklahoma City. Reservations are required if you are planning on attending. More information is available at the following Link. The inductees are:

The "St. Valentine's Day Massacre and Banjofest" is coming up next month to the Allenberry resort, in Boiling Springs, PA. It is hosted by the "Bayside Banjo Aggregation" and will feature Dave Marty as the headliner. Rumor has it that he has been teaming up with David Frey and the two will be performing together next month.
