BOB GILLETTE

        He was born in Chicago in 1902 and died in Dallas in 1972. In 1919 he organized the Woverine Jazz Band. One of the members of the band was the notable cornet player Bix Beiderbecke. He recorded with the New Orleans Rhythm Kings and the Wolverine Orchestra. Later in his career he and his wife formed an act known as "Gillette and Richardsd."
