| His career began as a banjoist
in a road band but in the thirties when the banjo lost popularity Carmen switched to
guitar. He worked with Tommy Dorsey and Glenn Miller in the AAF orchestra. Although most of his career was spent playing guitar his only solo album was on tenor banjo. |
