DREW FRECH

        Drew grew up listening to music played by other members of his family.  One of his first instruments was the violin. He later studied with Edger Ortenberg of the Budapest String Quartet. His music studies were at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY. Frech plays plectrum, tenor, 5-string banjo and just about any fretted instrument there is. He is well respected in the "American Banjo Fraternity" that promotes the classic style of the 5-string banjo.
