| In 1932 Jerry Allen was doing twenty-one Radio Shows a
week. He billed himself as the "Wizard of the Strings" and played
twenty-one various instruments. His career took him not only to theaters and supper
clubs but to the show rooms of Las Vegas, Reno and the South Shore of Lake Tahoe. Jerry played Plectrum and Tenor banjos. His Vega Vox IV was assembled, set-up and handed to him by his good friend Eddy Peabody. |
