    He was described as one of the finest banjo artist in the country.  A tenor player who not only was a favorite on records and in night clubs but he has was also featured on television shows such as Spike Jones Band and Dick Sinclair's "Polka Parade"..
    Jad was born in Los Angeles on June 16, 1916 and began playing banjo at an early age.   When the guitar replaced the banjo in dance bands Jad didn't abandon the banjo.
He was inducted into the Four String Banjo Hall of Fame in 2008 and passed away on December 29, 2008
