LARRY KENNEDY

        Born in 1938, Kennedy was lead banjoist and band leader at several of the Red Garter's throughout the United States. His strong driving rhythm clearly defined the "Feel" that made the nightclub chain so successful. He was an innovator in unique harmony, Larry could always astound and amaze musicians as well as non-musicians.
        With his boundless creativity he could play either right-handed or left-handed. In recent times Larry was a member of the banjo group known as "The Three Plectrums." Larry passed away in 2005.
