TYLER JACKSON

        Tyler began taking banjo lessons from Buddy Griffin at the age of twelve. Griffin was so impressed with Tyler's abilities that he put him with another student, Sam Webb, and formed the group called "The Banjo Boys." The group performed across the United States and it even included a stop at Branson, Missouri.
        While in High School Tyler began study banjo under Buddy Wachter where he was encouraged to take up other instruments. He excelled by landing a spot in the Texas All-State Orchestra playing double bass.
        Tyler is now a student at The University of North Texas. He  has been a headliner at various banjo festivals around the country and the list of artists that he has performed with  includes Buddy Wachter, Johnny Baier and Jack Convery
