The 50-piece "ALL STARS" Youth Banjo Band is made up of fun loving, 4-string banjo strumming group of boys and girls, ranging in age from 7 to 17 years.  Their programs feature a wide variety of music from the oldie-goldies to smooth-flowing waltzes to pops to those good old gospel tunes, with a few surprises in between.  Instrumentation includes 4-string tenor banjo playing lead, harmony and rhythm, accompanied by piano, guitar, ukuleles, drums and bass guitar.  In addition to being musically entertaining, their programs are heart warming and inspirational.
     The band is a ministry of Sagemount Church in Houston, TX and is directed by Buddy Griffin.
