THE BANJO-AIRES

     The Banjo-Aires were a true banjo band composed of four banjos and a tuba. They had a style of their own with lively arrangements that specialize in music not normally associated wth the banjo, such as rumbas, cha-chas and rock and roll music. They delighted many in private clubs and organizations in Long Island. Members on banjo were; Ed Becker, Tony Bee, Julius Cook, Bart Gallagher and Frank Tessitore on tuba.
