THE BANJO RASCALS

        The Banjo Rascals were founded in 1968. They are located on Long Island, New York and provide Dixieland Jazz, 20's and 30's Swing and Banjo Sing Along in the Tri-State
area. The band performs from a duo to a ten piece orchestra. Members of the band:
A. Geri Rheel Tenor Banjo, Mandolin, Vocals
B. Jim Rheel Tenor Banjo, Plectrum Banjo, Guitar, Vocals
C. Brian Nalepka String Bass, Tuba, Vocals. Leader of Manhattan Rhyme Kings.
D. Ed Polcer Cornet, Vocals. Former leader and manager of Eddie Condon's Jazz club in
Manhattan.
E. Barry Bryson Trumpet, Vocals. Musical Director of Swing Street
F. Dan Levinson "C" melody Sax, Clarinet, Tenor Sax etc. Pit band for Broadway show Showboat, Various Worldwide Jazz festivals.
G. Jack Stuckey Tenor Sax, Clarinet Current lead Sax in Broadway show Chicago.
H. John Gill Drums, Plectrum Banjo, Guitar, Vocals. Drummer for Vince Giordano Night
Hawks, Former Banjoist at Disney World CA.
I. Dan Rosengard Piano Former Music Director Saturday Night Live.
J. Other part time performers: Mike Weatherly String Bass, Linc Milliman Tuba, Conal Fauks String Bass & Piano, Ton Olin C Melody Sax, Clarinet, Flute, Jeff Tillman Banjo & Guitar, Fred Stoll Drums, Rocco Patierno Trombone, Artie Baron Trombone.
