Tony Mack's Original Strawhatters Banjo Band

Baltimore's music lover and students of the good old days who remember "The Stawhat" fondly recall the night club's back room, where laughter, clapping, and merrily singing crowds gathered nightly. "The Strawhat," with its red-stripped wallpaper, framed music, peanuts and beer, was a dedicated effort by both musicians and patrons to recapture the fun and good times of the past.
Members of the band were: Tony Mack (Banjo), Pat Simering (cornet), Wayne Mules (Piano), "Giff Blaylock (tuba), and Jim Riley (banjo).
