The Nickelodeon Banjo Band entertained in Toronto at the "Great White Way" back in the early 1970's. The leader or the group was Borgy Borgerson (Pictured in the center). Borgy had left Vancouver and took his own banjo group to entertain at Expo '67 and remained in Montreal until the opening of The Nickelodeon in 1970. Members of the band were: Borgy Borgerson (Tenor Banjo), George Mitchell (Plectrum Banjo), Mike Lawson (Trombone), Don Trigg (Tuba), Claire Kennedy (Trombone & Banjo).
